Karole & Yann
- Elopement at Breiborg, Norway

Karole and Yannick are from France, but their hearts have always been drawn north. Norway was the first place they travelled together, so coming back here to celebrate their love felt natural, almost instinctive.

They chose to stay in a traditional hytte, a simple mountain cabin, the way many Norwegians do on weekends to disconnect from the everyday. No running water, no distractions. Just space, silence, and the sound of nature.

They weren’t looking for luxury. They were looking for something real, something to remember. The kind of experience that becomes a story you tell for years. A place to slow down, reconnect, and be fully present with one another.

We met after a short hike through mossy trails and wet rocks. The cabin stood above the valley, facing the ridgelines, hidden away from the world. That day, the sky was low. The rain came and went without warning. The wind moved through the trees. And nothing about it needed to be different.

The rhythm of the day was slow and simple.
Moments of stillness and intimate in the cabin.

Later, they stood in the open, surrounded by the wild.
They read their vows with rain on their skin, wind in their hair, and that kind of softness in their eyes that says everything.

This was the perfect place for them, far from tourist trails, in full harmony with the elements.
They didn’t want to pose or perform.
They just wanted to feel.
To honour something simple and true, in a land that reflects that back.
