The intimate portrait photography, also called “Selflove”, was created to relearn how to love yourself, unconditionally. You can be there because you have experienced a difficult event: breakup, loss or gain weight, a complex, an illness… You can also be looking for new challenges and celebrate yourself, this body that helps you live the beautiful stories of your life every day.

How does an Intimate photography session work ?

Getting in touch
During our first contact by email, you’ll receive my information brochure. We discuss your wishes and formalities. You can ask me all your questions regarding your intimate portrait session. Once we have agreed on a time, you’ll receive a deposit to reserve your slot.

On D-Day
You’ll get tea, we will chat a little before starting the session to break the ice. We’ll look at the outfits you brought and when you’ll feel ready, the session can start slowly. You’ll get relaxation exercises at the beginning of the session in order to relax and better reconnect with yourself.

After the session
You’ll have the possibility to choose the photos you want to keep, you’ll receive photos on a PDF file. You’ll receive the photos within 2 to 4 weeks (depending on the season) via a private gallery.

I started photography over 10 years ago and intimate portrait photography of women has been what I have practiced since the beginning. I had the chance to photograph experienced models in agencies when I lived in Paris. Then I wanted to put my expertise at the service of women to help them gain self-esteem, thanks to photography. What I like is to meet you and offer you images that you will like. I want to show through my photos that each of us is beautiful, despite the beauty complexes we put on ourselves. The path to self-acceptance can be long but I would be delighted to be a link in your process for the better.

You’ll have the possibility to change your outfit 2 times during the shoot.
* A start to Selflove
You can select the images you like the most. You’ll receive them in both black & white and color in a pdf.
* 5 images edited in the style you see on the website and in high resolution. They are delivered in an online gallery and accessible for 6 months with full printing rights and unlimited downloads.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve never posed, what should I do ?
It’s perfect because you will be guide and receive all my advice to get a nice attitude. You’ll get a
sequence of poses so that you’re as natural as possible.
Which outfit to choose ?
Selflove photoshoot is made to reveal you, surpass yourself and challenge you. The best is to bring
lingerie, but if you’re not ready, we don’t have to. There is no obligation if you don’t feel ready. Prefer
the colors black, white, beige, cream, gray, khaki, navy blue, taupe, ochre… these are colors that will
stand out wonderfully in the image. Kimonos and flowing fabrics are also particularly interesting.
If you hesitate between several, you can bring them on D-Day and I will advise you on which is best
for the session.
What about makeup and hairstyle ?
Plan something very simple and that you are used to doing. If you make up the eyes, don’t insist too
much on the lips and vice versa. Not too much makeup for a very natural look. For the hair, it’s really
nice when you can play with them so don’t make a hairstyle too sophisticated.
where does the photoshoot take place ?
It’s important that the photo shoot takes place in a place where you will feel confident. For the
interior, you will be welcome in my studio in Sauda. If you prefer, it is also possible to have the
photo session at your home, we will just discuss having enough natural light. Travel expenses
may be requested for more than 1 hour from Sauda.
What will be the style of the images ?
The photos will be a mixture of naturalness, softness and poetry. Particular attention will be paid to
details and framing. The session will take place in natural light for its raw and soft side. The photos
can also have a more fashionable touch in order to achieve a more artistic research if that is something
you are looking for.
