Aline & Marc came from Switzerland to spend a few days travelling through Norway, with the idea of marking this chapter of their story with an engagement session in Stavanger.

Marc had already proposed during a trip to Scotland, by the sea. So when we started imagining their session together, choosing a quiet stretch of the Norwegian coastline felt like a meaningful little nod to that first moment.

I helped them find a place that felt intimate and gave them enough space to simply be together, away from the busiest spots, surrounded by the sea, wind and the soft evening light that is so characteristic of the Norwegian coast.

But Aline had been quietly planning something of her own. She had written Marc a letter and brought a ring for him, wanting to surprise her future husband with a proposal of her own. We planned this part of the session together beforehand, so Marc had no idea what was about to happen.

What began as an engagement session became something much more personal: a second proposal, this time from Aline, and a moment where they could both choose each other again.

A quiet evening by the sea, deeply connected to their story, and entirely their own.
